Starting out as a one-man band in 1988, Liddell Construction became an incorporated company in 1992. Notable projects at the time included the Otira Viaduct, Candy's Bend upgrade and Cass Bridge.

Even though we’ve been around a while, we’re always working on something new. With a strong forward works pipeline, and plenty of interesting projects we're always keen to hear from candidates who want to work with us.

These days we're part of the Isaac Group, a collection of civil construction businesses working across the South Island. Our divisions cover the full spectrum of civil works, construction, paving, sealing, traffic management, materials testing, surveying, quarrying, asphalt plants, transport and project management.
