Civil construction
The construction division at Liddell is not your standard civil team. Our unique approach and detailed planning is why we’re called on time and time again.
We specialise in bridge builds and maintenance, wharf maintenance and repairs, structural repairs of buildings, upgrading, earthquake strengthening, and the repair and maintenance of structures in remote places. We work on tight timeframes, which involves plenty of pre-planning, done right.
The projects we work on include bridge restoration and timber stand elimination for Kiwi Rail, roading projects for NZTA, and design-build projects for local council.
Our unique approach delivers innovative solutions for our clients including projects completed on live rail networks and roads, and creating precast structures for our civil clients. We can complete commercial structures utilising our workshop and engineering division as well as pre cast panelling and cladding within our civil construction sector.
We rebuild wharfs so they can stand up to more wear and tear from boats and convert old railway structures to make them part of new cycleways. We’re the experts on bridge structures, old plants, concrete cutting and core drilling. We do a lot of scoping and coordinating of multi-disciplined projects, as well as precast concrete, underpasses, trough units and waterways. If it’s concrete or steel, we can design-build it; from the initial concept, right through to completion.
