Our team pulled out all the stops to complete a 7 day, 6 night block of line beam replacement on Bridge 52 just outside of Otira.

As the founder of Liddell Construction, Graham Liddell has left an indelible mark on the West Coast's construction industry. With his recent retirement, it is time to reflect on the legacy he has created and the innovative work he has accomplished. From his humble beginnings as a sole trader to the growth of his company from major projects such as the Otira Viaduct and Holcim SCL Plant, and complex bridge and wharf projects, Graham's ingenuity and expertise have set a high standard in the industry. Liddell Excellence Awards 2021

On the Saturday,4th December our Liddell Contracting celebrated the Liddell Excellence Awards & Christmas function. We celebrated our successes and acknowledged our staff that go beyond and demonstrate our core values.

Greymouth Wharf

Liddell Contracting have won the contract to remove the existing timber wharf structure and subcontract to Bellingham Marine to construct a new floating wharf in Greymouth.

Fox River swing bridge

The Fox River swing bridge on the West Coast had to be dismantled recently due to rising river levels and the natural deterioration of the bridge’s structure.

We are well underway on site with the construction of the spillway, for Oceana Gold Passive Water Treatment System (also known as Devil’s Creek).
